Daze was a young mutant who was being tested by Magneta and Wild Thing as a possible recruit for the as-yet-unnamed team they were forming. J2 and Wolverine were invited to Madripoor for the testing.
Daze is able to turn her body into a gaseous state, and can create different types of vapours, such as a nausea-inducing gas.
