The first member to join Professor Xavier's X-Men, Cyclops is an active participant in the training of Jubilee's X-People.
Cyclops encountered J2 at such a training session after which he revealed the fate of the Juggernaut. Later, Cyclops was present during Wild Thing's training session with the X-People.
Cyclops is a mutant with the ability to fire crimson optic blasts from his eyes, and as such must wear a specially-modified visor of ruby quartz to keep his power in check.
