CABLE SOLDIERS ON IN NEW MARVEL.COM TRAILER

"If you've been wondering what all the buzz surrounding Cable has been about, then today's your chance to find out!" said Rosemann. "Victor Gonzalez and John Roberts, the magicians of Marvel.com, have created yet another pulse-pounding trailer, this time spinning the spotlight on the one-man (make that mutant) -army! So head on over to Marvel.com for the world premiere of the Cable Trailer!"

this was a pretty decent trailer... ALMOST makes me want to collect the series.


Given that X-Factor and Weapon X are coming out, and The Ultimates kick some serious butt, so I think I'm still going to stay away.

I don't doubt that some great stories are being told, but when you add up how much $ you put out each month, something has got to give. I've bought Cable off and on for years, but it never really lived up to what I wanted it to be.

and don't ask what that is because I wouldn't be able to clearly tell you.

Same here. Way back when I was living at home, I was getting all but two of the X-titles. Now I get Cable and leech off my girlfriend's comics.

I liked it. Some of the captions seemed a bit off, but the music and animated panels were dead on, IMO. :D

This is a great trailer!!! If I was not already reading Cable, I am sure this could have pulled me in. I thought it was a very fitting show from the first arc. I did think the captions could have been worded a little differntly, but they were not that bad. The music was great, I am going to go download that song. The song from the Elektra trailer is now one of my favorite songs. :D I wonder if the will pull this trailer once the new writer starts, or if they will change it so his name is in there or something? Maybe we will just get yet another cool trailer.

Dammit! Why didn't they make a low-rez trailer as well? My computer is so crappy, I can't view the trailer... :( Sigh! But I'm sure it's swell, as the WX trailer was kick-ass. Ah well... maybe I'll see it someday :shame:

I haven't checked out the Cable trailer yet, but I am looking forward to doing so. A while back I decided that I was going to start picking up issues of Cable, but I was only able to find one issue. After that, I couldn't locate any. Sometime later on down the road I will subscribe to Cable, and that depends on how much money I have on me at the moment.

Yep, I thought it was a bit strange as well until I looked closely and realised it was taken from a still-to-be published Cable - I think it's the cover for 104 when Cable sees the result of his power up ( or there again, I could be talking complete tosh)
