Cause of Death: Killed by Cyclops
Fred Dukes was a slave in Apocalypse's pens who was one of the McCoy's test subjects for his twisted experiments.
He broke free of his restraints and attacked his torturer, but was killed by Cyclops.

are you sure the blob is dead. and if he is, how exactly did he die. i thought he was supposed to be invulnerable and stuff.

This is the Blob of the Age of Apocalypse. He was killed by Cyclop's optic blast.

once again, i thought he was invulnerable, how could one lousy optic blast bring about the end to this jovial 1 ton man.

In the 616 universe Cyclops was shown shooting a hole through Blob using his optic blasts (X-Factor #31, page 18).
Plus in the AoA, Cyclops' optic blasts were able to punch through adamantium, so I would think an already depleted Blob (tortured by Dark Beast, and then fried by Havok) would really be no problem for him.

Also, the AoA Dukes never actually used the name Blob, he was just plain old Fred Dukes.
