First Appearance: X-Men 2099 #3 (cameo), X-Men 2099 #4 (fully)

Once an unwilling servant of the Theater Of Pain, the female mutant known as Lunática first encountered the X-Men of 2099 when she was dispatched by the Theater's Controller-13 to capture them.

Lunática is a psychic vampire with the ability to inflict pain by touching an individual and feeding on the psychic turmoil she creates, which made her a perfect servant for the sadistic Theater.

Lunática escaped after the X-Men broke free of the Theater and she encountered Skullfire once more whilst he was on a leave-of-absence from the X-Men. She sought Skullfire's protection from Brimstone Love, the leader of the Theater.

After the X-Men's leader Xi'an defected to join the Theater, Skullfire took over as leader of the X-Men and Lunática joined the team.

Similar, although Selene feeds on her victims' life force, not their pain.

I wonder where you got the name X-Peditioners from? At some other sites it is also used as the name for the team operation in the Savage Land, but the name was never mentioned in the 2099: World of Tomorrow serie (although I haven't issue #8 yet).
