Jordan Boone was originally a research scientist for the megacorporation Alchemax in the year 2099. After uncovering a sinister plot at Alchemax, and alerting his former Alchemax University roommate and friend Meanstreak of the X-Men to their plans, he was captured and implanted with nanotechs so that he could become Loki 2099 and take part in Alchemax's scheme to fool the world of 2099 that the gods of the Norse pantheon had returned.

<img src="http://x-mencomics.com/xfan/images/headshots/2099/loki2099.jpg" align=right alt="Loki 2099">After Alchemax's scheme was uncovered by the heroes of 2099, Boone turned to a life of crime, using his shape-shifting powers to change his identity and rob the Synge Casino. Captured by the Rat Pack, he was electrocuted but this sent the nanotechs in his system haywire and allowed him to escape.

Driven insane, Boone changed his form and took on the new name of Halloween Jack. He then attempted to take over Las Vegas by altering reality. Vegas was sealed off by then-president Doom 2099 and Jack was left to rule over his warped kingdom.

After the great flood wiped out most of the United States, Jack ended up as a gladiator in the arena of the Wild Boyz, and was killed in a fight.

X-Men #19 and #21, I can't remember if it was also #20, but they had a virtual unrealty project, Meanstreak and Jack. And they had to deal with the Synges And Boone turned Las Vegas basically into Toon Town. Meanstreak was the one to help him with that. And Doom basically barricaded Halloween Jack in Las Vegas, stopping the spread on Virtual Unreality. Although that is more of a rough outline, I do not have the titles here to verify it.

Also, Boone was seen in the Recent Captain Marvel Times Files, would that count as well? Since it deals with Thanatos and Spider-Man 2099. And in the time frame of 2099.

But I know Halloween Jack appeared in #19 and #21.

He was also in X-men 2099 17,18, 28 (in 28 he was on the cover, but never actually appeared in the book, so I don't know if that actually counts as an appearance) ...................Stormwatch, I can confirm that he wasn't in 20, that was a story focusing only on bloodhawk, and Krys.

But it is a 2099 character and so the apearance is relavent. Just because he time travels doesn't mean he's not the same guy. ;)

He is one of my favorite villains. Is there any other villain as crazy and bizar as HJ? He's so much fun!

In the home reality of Spider-Man 2099 of the Exiles Halloween Jack was seen again, only in his human form Jordan Boone.
Since it is revealed Spider-Man 2099 from the Exiles is indeed the same one as Spider-Man 2099 from Earth-928 (2099 A.D.), you could say Halloween Jack/Jordan Boone is still alive (again).
