Mr. Fantastic, whose figure spans numbers #70-72 in the set of 96, is described as follows:

"The leader of the Fantastic Four, the man with the plan! Mr. Fantastic is the thinking person's hero. He offers a strange mix of offensive, defensive and support powers. Obviously he can tie up opponents with Plasticity and use it to keep his foes immobile. Even tougher enemies don’t cause him too much trouble because he has Toughness or Invulnerability. His damage value is okay, and he has a good range value, but it's the combination of Incapacitate and Outwit lower on the dial that can really mess up any opponent. Use it to soften up and weaken foes for others to take down. On a team - like, say, the Fantastic Four - he really comes into his own."

The new Spider-Man figure, which is a Unique figure numbered #88, is described as follows:

<a href="http://x-mencomics.com/xfan/images/games/hcct_spiderman.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://x-mencomics.com/xfan/images/games/hcct_spidermant.jpg" align=right alt="Marvel HeroClix: Clobberin' Time Unique Spider-Man figure"></a>"Spider-Man once tried to cure himself and ended up with six arms. Whoops! This version of the character has lower attack and defense values because he's not used to the extra arms, but he boasts consistent Damage all the way down the dial. Earlier in the dial he has Leap/Climb and Incapacitate, so you can use him just like you would his previous versions, but he also has Super Senses to help him avoid blows. His 'spider sense' will help make up for the lower defense. Plus he has a couple of extra helpings of Flurry (for obvious reasons), so get him into close combat and let him do some serious damage. At the end of the dial he gains a couple of clicks of Outwit, so he can pull victory from the jaws of defeat."

Marvel HeroClix: Clobberin' Time is scheduled to street next Wednesday, November 13.

Check here for details on prices and such for Marvel HeroClix products:

I think the Premiere Set (which is what I think you're referring to - it's under Expansions & Add-Ons at the above URL) is well worth the cost for those first starting out, as you get everything you need for you and a friend to be able to start playing and learn the ropes. Plus you get an extra double-sided map over what those that bought starter packs got!

Hmmmm.... green base for Mr. Fantastic. Can you say "Doctor Doom's arch-enemy"? ;)

And at last, a Spidey with Spidey Sense! That should clam up a few naysayers, even if he does have six arms!

Still, I find it odd that they left out the Surfer and Namor... they are, for as far as I know the team, one of the most memorable ('sides Doc Doom) villains/allies....

But, they'll probably be in the next set when their movies come out or so..

Yay! New powers are being confirmed! Spidey sense and Dc's placticity (Which is my favorite super power from the Dc set. Go Changeling! ;) ) are in it. :bunny:

I think that the six-armed Pete looks and sounds darned cool. It’s a shame that it’s a unique so I’ll never see it. :(

I doubt that Spider Sense is really a new power. There was a “heightened senses” or something from the first set (Daredevil had it). I’m guessing that’s what the “Spider Sense” will be.

As it said in the description for the new Spidey figure, his Spidey Sense will be represented in the game by the figure having the Super Senses power from the original Infinity Challenge set.
